Executive Leadership
Rev. Dr. Connie Baylor Welch-DuJardin is the Chairman, Board of Directors and President of Emmanuel Christian Leadership & Training Institute, Inc. Dr. Welch-DuJardin is also the President of Connie Welch Ministries, International. Dr. Welch-DuJardin earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Virginia State University and her Masters of Divinity (cum laude) and Doctor of Ministry degrees from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University. She is the former Dean of Women and Professor of Homiletics, Theology, and Biblical Interpretation at Valley Forge Christian College, Woodbridge, VA campus (now University of Valley Forge). Dr. Welch-DuJardin is an International Preacher, Teacher, and Business Owner who has conducted leadership, entrepreneurship, women and youth seminars in both the U.S. and abroad. She is the author of Moving Out From The Pew: Equipping The Saints for The Work of Ministry, A Training Manual For Lay Leaders (ISBN 978-1-5127-6703-2 and 978-1-5127-6702-5 (ebook). Dr. Welch-DuJardin was also the Founding Principal of Connie Welch and Associates, a management consulting firm. Previously, Dr. Welch served 20 years with the federal government (at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing and the US Environmental Protection Agency) as a Chemist, Product Manager and Branch Chief. She is currently Vice President of toXcel, LLC a toxicology and engineering consulting firm located in Northern VA. Dr. Welch enjoys teaching any of the Accelerated Biblical Studies, Biblical Interpretation, Theology, Homiletics, and Public Speaking courses whenever her schedule permits. She resides in Sarasota, Florida with her husband Dr. Ralf DuJardin.
Dr. Ralf DuJardin is the Executive Vice President of Emmanuel Christian Leadership & Training Institute and Connie Welch Ministries, International. He is also the Vice President of Marketing and Innovation at Imaflex, Inc. Dr. DuJardin joined Imaflex in 2013 to oversee the commercialization of Imaflex’s agricultural mulch films, to foster relationships with agricultural growers and distributors throughout the world, and to build a pipeline of new and innovative agricultural products. Dr. DuJardin has more than 25 years general management experience, working with Bayer and General Electric in Research and Development, Manufacturing, Financing, New Business Development, Intellectual Property Management and Corporate Ventures. He has worked in Germany, Japan, Australia, Canada and the USA. During this time, Dr. DuJardin led multiple key projects from development to successful market launch in such areas as optical data storage, flexible displays, plastic glazing and control release medical and agricultural devices. With a Masters and Doctorate in Chemistry from the University of Siegen, as well as years of experience managing multiple international engineering groups, Dr. DuJardin has deep engineering expertise as it relates to active ingredients, materials, product development, and manufacturing. He is named as main inventor on more than 75 patent families. Dr. DuJardin oversees strategic planning and funding the ECI.
Quentin Newhouse, Jr., PhD is the Vice President for Institutional Advancement at ECLTI. As a University Professor and Campus Administrator, Dr. Quentin Newhouse Jr.’s collegiate career spans more than four decades. Dr. Newhouse earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Marietta College, a Master of Science degree in General Experimental Psychology and a PhD in Experimental Social Psychology from Howard University (1980). He has also completed courses toward a Master of Business Administration degree at Strayer University. Dr. Newhouse is also currently the President of Q Newhouse Structured Coaching Strategies, Inc. (QNSCS), a Canadian Corporation. In addition, he served as a former Deacon, member of the Governing Board, Choirmaster and Co-coordinator for the Men’s Fellowship Group at Temple Baptist Church, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
